About Kevin Menard, L.Ac.

 

Kevin Menard, LAc, MS/Ac, C.SMA, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM) is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Sports Medicine Acupuncturist, and the founder of Dragon Hemp. He is Diplomate-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture from TriState College of Acupuncture in New York City.

 

Background

 

Kevin's path to clinical practice began in NYC's digital music and television advertising industry — and in the chronic stress, anxiety, and insomnia that came with it. He moved to the East End of Long Island to study Sports Medicine Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and over the next decade built one of the region's leading acupuncture practices. He served on the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY) Board from 2013 to 2016, where he advocated for broader recognition of the profession.

Founding Dragon Hemp

 

In 2021, Kevin founded Dragon Hemp to extend the work of his clinic into a wider audience — bridging time-honored Chinese herbal formulations with cutting-edge cannabinoid science. He continues to see patients at his Sports Medicine Acupuncture practice in Sag Harbor, NY, where Dragon Hemp's flagship apothecary is also located.
